Visit Sanremo

  • The old port of Sanremo, so called to distinguish it from the "new" or Porto Sole, is undoubtedly one of the major attractions of the city which narrates the past sailors long commercial tradition. Over the years it has marked the history and the development of tourism and gives the city a unique atmosphere and charming, ideal for evening walks or spring. The Old Port stretches for 82,500 square meters of water and can accommodate up to 465 boats of different sizes and fifty vessels.
  • In addition to the Port there are many other attractions that can be seen with a walk through the city streets. Do not miss via Matteotti, where is located the Hotel Nazionale, called The Bath because of its predominance over the other streets of the city, where the most important fashion brands and boutiques fine.
  • In addition to shopping and dining Via Matteotti also houses the Ariston Theatre, famous for the Festival of the Italian Song, Palazzo Borea d'Olmo and the Casino (located next to the Hotel Nazionale).
    At the crossroads between Via Matteotti and Via Escoffier is the statue of Mike Bongiorno, in honor of the festival presented.
